A rider can 'elevate' in any class that has a vet gate. You must pass the vetting at that vet gate. On passing the vet you will be credited with the distance achieved and a Grade will be awarded. You must let the vet steward know after you have passed the vet and prior to the time you are due to start your next 'section'. If the start time passes you will be recorded as a Retired On Course without the benefit of an elevation.
The Kestral 120km class, running as two separate classes, will not have a vet gate and will be fully vetted each day.
