INFORMATION FOR RIDERS - entering is via Endurance GB website on the Event page for the Golden Horseshoe Ride
Entries will be live on the EGB website soon.
You will need to be registered on the EnduranceGB website in order to make an online entry.
We will accept postal entries - please email ghs2023@onthehoofdt.co.uk for an entry form or via the Golden Horseshoe Facebook page.
All horses will need to be in date with their flu vaccinations as per Endurance GB policy (i.e. within 12 months but not less than 7 days prior to the ride). You need to have 4 years history of in date vaccinations or prove that the flu vaccination course has restarted.
All Endurance GB Rules will be observed. There are some special rules for this ride please see the relevant page on this website.
Full refunds will be given until midnight Sun 11 May 25. After that date refunds will only be given on production of a vet or doctors note but we hope that you might consider your ride entry as a donation to the ride budget if you are unable to attend.
A Late Entry fee will be payable from Mon 12 May 25.
There are lots of gates on this ride - that is the nature of Exmoor! We have lots of lovely landowners who will let us open as many as possible however there will be some that need to be closed - please make sure you close them behind you so we don't end up with loose livestock!
Facilities at Treborough include camping, corralling, toilets and water for the horses (not for human consumption). The Exford Showground includes catering, toilets, first aid and farriers. There is no water available here. You'll find plenty of water on route for the horses, even if the weather gods bring sunshine! We hope to have some trade stands for you too. Don't forget the Dog Show and Exmoor Pony roadshow will be at the venue on Saturday afternoon.
